History of the Church

Our church started in 1992 with about 15 families, the church bought a building in Savage, MD in 1994 and it was consecrated by his holiness Pope Shenouda on October 14, 1994.
Fr. Guirguis Gobrail served in the church from 1995 to 2013, Fr. David Milad was ordained in 2009 and served in the church till 2013. Fr. Shenouda Ebeid has been serving in our church since 2013 and Fr Mena Attwa has been serving in our church since 2015.
In 2017, as the congregation grew to over 200 families, the church bought a bigger facility in Cooksville, MD to accommodate the needs of the growing congregation, Bishop Karas blessed hte new facility by praying the first liturgy on July 22, 2017.
